The source code error appears when the access setting on the MAC is not set to "Read & Write." Please follow the instructions below to correct the settings:.

In Finder, go to where you installed Cosmo's Play and Learn (eg: Macintosh Hard Drive > Cosmo's Play and Learn > Playground Discovery).  You will see the Cosmo's Playground Discovery application.  Click on, but don't open the "sourcecode" folder.

From the Finder menu, select File, Get Info.  Expand the "Ownership & Permissions:" section.  Expand "Details" underneath as well.  Next to Owner, click the lock, and change the Owner to your user-name.  Change Access to "Read & Write."  Now click "Apply to enclosed items..." Choose OK when it tells you that you cannot undo this action, you may also be prompted for your password.

Cosmo's Play and Learn should now work correctly.
